Deodorizer Distillates Processing

Deodorizer Distillates Processing

Oils like Soyabean, Sunflower, Corn, Canola, etc processed through chemical refining route, their deodorizer system distillates do contain micro-nutrients like toco-pherols, sterols in considerable amount. During the process this needs to be separated from the mainstream by products that is FFA with application of modified scrubbing system called DUALSCRUB®.
The separated toco-rich constituent can be further processed through trans-esterification and distillation to remove residual FFA, yielding a tocopherol mixture of up to 65–70%, which becomes a high-value product that can be utilized in food and pharma applications.

The FFA-rich part, as a low-boiling constituent, adds further value as a product and can be used by oleochemical industries.

Key Features

Enables conversion into diverse product streams such as tocopherols (Vitamin E), phytosterols, fatty acids.

Utilization of advanced separation techniques (e.g., molecular distillation) to extract premium nutraceutical compounds.

Converts a low-value by-product into commercially viable outputs, supports in reducing net processing cost.

Allows alignment of processing routes with prevailing market demand and pricing for improved profitability.

Can be seamlessly integrated with deodorization and downstream processing units, leveraging existing utilities and vacuum systems.
